1. Who we are

Helen Forsyth (sole trader) trading as Devon Sauna is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Note on physical address: As a sole trader operating from a residential address, we have chosen to omit this and provide an email address instead. You are entitled to request our postal address at any time.

We process your personal data on the basis of consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR), given when you ticked the checkbox on our sign-up form. You may withdraw consent at any time.

5. Who we share your data with

To operate our sign-up service your data passes through the following processors. We have a data-processing relationship with each one and will never sell your data.

This site includes a link to our Facebook group. If you click that link you will leave this site and be subject to Facebook’s own privacy policy. Devon Sauna does not share your data with Facebook and clicking the link does not transmit any personal data to Facebook.

6. Website analytics

We use Netlify Analytics, which is server-side only. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not collect personally identifiable information. No third-party analytics scripts (including Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel) are loaded on this site.

7. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Netlify may set technical cookies strictly necessary for the website to function.

8. How long we keep your data

We retain your data for as long as you remain on our mailing list. Deletion requests are actioned within 30 days.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email helen@something-other.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

10. How to unsubscribe

Every marketing email sent via Brevo contains a one-click unsubscribe link at the foot of the email. You can also email helen@something-other.com with the subject "Unsubscribe" and you will be removed within 5 working days.

11. International transfers

Two processors in our chain are based in the United States: Netlify, Inc. and Zapier, Inc. Transfers to both are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent safeguard recognised under UK GDPR. Brevo SAS is based in France and subject to EU GDPR, which the UK currently recognises as providing adequate protection.

By submitting your details you acknowledge that your data will be processed in the manner described above.
